"A portrait of my child, once a week, every week in 2014"

17/52: Post nap sads. It's okay kid, you can go back to sleep - I'm certainly not going to stop you!

16/52: Hiding down the side of the couch.

The range of emotions a toddler goes through in a day is amazing (and tiring). Olive goes from crying for no discernible reason, to cheerfully playing peek-a-boo, to quietly reading a book, to throw-yourself-on-the-floor tantrums, to pulling us in for kisses, to running around the house giggling maniacally, all in the space of half and hour (or less). It must be tough being such a little person with such big feelings.

15/52: Olive and Ash

Caught up with two of my oldest and dearest friends through the week. So lovely to see Olive and Steph's little guy, Ashton, playing together. She's so sweet and gentle with him (but laughs whenever he falls over).

14/52: Olive at Ruby's house.

We had a lovely catch up with a few of the mothers' group girls and babes on Friday at Mel's (and Ruby's) house. So amazing that when we met last January we were all cradling tiny newborns and now we're chasing proper kids around. I love that Olive's got a group of kiddos her age to grow up with and the support and friendship of these lovely ladies over the last year and half has been wonderful.
